Random Event: Prayer

Dear Soul Friends,
It is said that this is not our first birth. We have been born as animals, ghosts, Gods, Demi Gods, Rakshasas, insects and other being in our previous lives.
In this human existence we suffer because of our past Karmic Actions (The Karma). What ever good and bad deeds we did in our previous lives are like seeds that were sowed then and now in this life ripen. Therefore, sometimes you may think to yourself  "I am so good and better than others then why am I suffering." It is because of our past life actions.
This ends us up visiting Astrologers who can only tell our future which is already written. Some stones and gems may help on atomic level, but on cosmic level the trouble still stays on you, but there is still a way out.
Karmic cycles are only inevitable unless you become a warrior. You have to generate great faith in yourself and first understand the cause of your suffering.
You can start by thinking, that if you have a car but can't afford petrol and so you travel by bus or metro is making you suffer, but not other's who don't have car but travel by metro. They are happy that that can enjoy the Air-condition throughout their journey. Therefore you have to first understand that the pain is nowhere else but in your mind. No matter how big, even death a  close one. Think about those parents, husbands, wives, siblings and relatives who have their sons and daughters in army and don't even know if their beloved will see the next day or not. So live each day in preparation and attune their mind. They are stronger in character when dealing with complex issue such as death learn to move on despite of adversaries. So pain, helplessness and intensity of sorrow that will make you completely weak and disabled, is all in your mind.
The best way to fight your Karma is to collect merit. that is to do so many good deeds that it outruns every negative Karma, cancels it out and make your fortune be delivered.
You should pray with each good deed. "May this give me inconceivable, unlimited merit, and also to ones I ma helping. Since I know suffering hurts so much, may others too never suffer. May their Karmic obstructions and affliction completely end as well."
Keep faith and there is no way that the things will not turn in your favor.
Also, assess yourself correctly: that may be you don't want enlightenment, but are compensating because you can't have things that you want to enjoy. Here your "enlightenment wish" is still secondary. Being honest and confessing to yourself will remove all your karmic obstructions much before time.
In the upcoming event of meetup, I will also be offering prayers. Any one who cannot come and has prayer, send it to me with your name. I will recite and pray on your behalf. It is a very auspicious day and all your bad Karma will be purified very quickly. It is free for all of us. you can mail at ajaneja111@gmail.com
Good Luck.

Tantra Path : Part 1

Knowledge is never ending and also after a certain stage, it becomes a hindrance towards the path of enlightenment. Extra knowledge eventually becomes nothing but another source of our ego that our fake identity likes to dwells upon. Therefore, it is imperative for me to take extra precaution in sharing only that information that would easily blend with our current path without further drifting us towards delusions respectively.

Very recently I read about different paths for realizing the ultimate truth. This topic is vast  but I have tried to highlight the most important points in a concise manner to save you time, also hoping that it will of great benefit to you.

According to Buddhism there are two ways to achieve the highest realization,

1. Through Sutras: Religious Texts and Scriptures. There are various scriptures like Upanishads, Sri Bhagvat Geeta, Guru Granth Sahib, The Bible, The Holy Koran, The Golden Light Sutra that accelerate us to the path of righteousness and eventually realization.

2. Through Mantras (Or Tantra path): Tantra has been misinterpreted as black magic over the period of time due to degeneration of understanding of its true meaning in the Ancient Vedas. Very few Indian Gurus understand and teach the true meaning of tantra and only now things have started to change on a global level for good.In Tibetan Buddhism some great monks carefully translated and understood the true meaning of tantras as well.  Tantra is a path that may not be suitable for everyone. It requires some regular practice and commitment (At stage I lack that so I have not initiated it, however I am trying to be more spiritually organized).  For tantra the first criteria is to be honest to yourself. Assess your level fairly to progress. Leave it to the universe to put you on the path of Sutra or Mantra or Tantra or all together.

In addition to the two paths above there are also two kinds of Truth Realizers. I have not read the Hindu equivalent so I will talk about what I read in the Buddhist text about it.

1. Solitary Realizer: Beings who realize the ultimate truth for themselves and achieve salvation. They remain in bliss and return when required by the universe to assist. There domain of helping other beings is also limited.

2. Buddha (The Enlightened): A being who in addition is also filled with such limitless compassion for  uncountable sentient beings that he manifest himself or herself  for eons in various reality domains in different forms only to alleviate them to perfect and peerless Enlightenment as well. It is also said that the Buddha bliss realization is equal to that of a solitary realizer but much nobler since a Buddha did not think just think himself during his pursuit for ultimate realization but about all. Also the Buddha has wisdom of omniscience in addition. Omniscience is all knowing in one moment. A solitary realizer on the other hand will have to select a moment from past present and future to see and know. A Buddha is known to knock at the door or wake up (encourage to manifest) the solitary realizer and help liberating sentient beings.

Coming back to Tantra, it is said that one should find a true Guru and get initiated. Initiation is a process where you are given a Mantra and set of breathing techniques to practice. This practice opens up Kundalini Shakti in a systematic manner according to ones capabilities of this life. Some other important factors that will accelerate your progress while practicing Tantra are

1. Renouncing Killing: Try to direct mosquitoes out of the window at least once before killing it. Have compassion for rodents and don’t enjoy their death. Feel that this was once your child, or parent in previous life and only became a rodent because of its bad karmas. No matter how ugly a rodent is, it was still your child or a parent once. Pray for a better life like that of a human for them so that they don’t have to die like this again. Check Usnisa Vijaya Mantra (also called Namgyalma Mantra) that specially benefits the dead and animals.

2. Giving plentiful food: Be it humans, insects, ants or any other sentient being. If you are able to recite Golden Light Sutra (Even a Single Word from it then the benefit to those beings will be limitless, and your numberless negative Karmas of past lives will disappear instantly as well. Even if you only pronounce the name “Tathagata Ratnashikin” (Tathagata is respectful title given to a Buddha) from the Golden Light Sutra, while giving food to any animal, humans, insect or any other being, they will receive immense benefit (The benefit that will come to you will be inconceivable and unending)

3. Being honest: If you are honest to yourself you cannot be unknowingly dishonest to anyone else. You will always know and would have to make an extra effort to be dishonest to anyone else.

4. Develop supreme compassion for all beings: (It took me 5 months to begin to understand the true meaning of compassion starting November 2014. After this time it is accelerating on its own). You can go to Tushita in hauz Khaz and meet Monk Kabir or a lady Monk Samten. They are very intelligent, patient and clear in delivering understanding about true meaning of compassion for those who are interested.

If anyone amongst you is ready for Tantra initiation then two genuine Gurus that I can vouch for are

1. Lama Zopa Rinpoche (Spiritual Buddhist Teacher): Check out his teachings and location at http://fpmt.org/teach... or just Google him along with the word enlightenment or emptiness.

2. Sri M (Vedic Teacher): I have not got a chance to meet him physically but I would suggest that you read his book first “Apprenticed to the Himalayan Yogi”. Try meeting him even with half heart you will not be disappointed. You can check out this YouTube link as well.If you are not ready they will just bless you and not initiate you yet.

But first I would strongly suggest you to read these books in chronological order if you would like the Tantra path. If you don’t have time to read then I would be writing about everything important in another email anyway. It might take few weeks. (Please note that before getting into tantra, Compassion is extremely necessary)

1. Apprenticed to the Himalayan Yogi(SRI M)   (I have read and can discuss)

2. Introduction to Tantra( Sir John Woodfrey)  (I have read and can discuss)

I would suggest you to read this book after you deliberately, think, research, understanding and practice compassion for at least a month and continue automatically without thinking. If you are an extrovert share your good gestures on the meet up board to inspire others but without making it a tool to satisfy your ego or having a sense of competition, else you do not write anything. For introverts who still want to share can email to me. I will be happy to read and respond) 3. Tantric Distiction (Jeophry Hopkins) (I have read and can discuss): You will like this difficult book if you have initiated compassion for all in your heart.

4. Introduction to Tantra (Lama Yeshe) ( Still Reading)

5. Kundalini Aghora II  (To read: You can also read any other book on kundalini shakti, I would be posting many links in near future. Internet is also very good.)

6. MahaNivaran Tantra (Sir John Woodfrey: To read)

7. Practice for at least 4 to 5 months before initiation by a Genuine Guru.

Good Luck

CHAPTER 3: Golden Light Sutra

Dear Friends

There are times when we loose our patience and start to become desperate for Nirvana. We know for sure it is the end of all the pain and suffering for us.

However, when we think like this, we are no better than the a selfish person who  earns money, power, good position and stature in life for selfish reasons forgetting about others. The only difference is that our money the world currency but the 'Exit'. We seek nirvana just for our self and no one else; not for our friend, our parents, our enemy, plants, trees, animals, suffering ghosts and countless beings in different forms.

If our Guru whom we haven't met so far or have, would have thought like this, then there would have been no gurus in the world at all. It would have been like 'everyone man for himself.'

It is a Gurus compassion that we hear voices in our heads when we feel low and move on. It is his compassion that we are able to meet like minded people at some point when the time is ripe and right. It is his compassion that you seek the permanent bliss even after forgetting everything about all your past lives and its education. His compassion make your remember you nature that you developed from thousands of previous lives.

Then what stops us from being compassionate and to only think about our nirvana? Why do we become self centered  while still thinking that we are much better than other? Why don't we as a student want to inherit few qualities of the Guru? Why don't we seek enlightenment instead of nirvana?

Yes, for those who already understand this are already being blessed with the supreme energy and no amount of afflictions of fear will cloud you. For most of us however we must understand the difference between enlightenment and nirvana.

To be Enlightened is to work for everyone's Enlightenment or Nirvana. To end their suffering. To help each being to realize his potential so that he does not have to suffer in hell realms or be a ghost or an animal. To sincerely work for this you do not need loads of worldly money or power or huge access to worldly resources. What you need is an intention. From feeding a dog on the street and putting prayers in his ears while he sips milk and bread is good. Even if you do once a month. Helping and old, watering a plant and offering a prayer for its freedom is all that you need. This will work and change the entire world. You will free the world of terror, criminals and bad element. In addition you collect inconceivable good karma for your quick full enlightenment.

Ask for Enlightenment yourself only for the sake of the entire living creatures. So that you may be able to free them. Ask for blessing that until you receive full enlightenment you are able to help numberless beings to move towards enlightenment or at least births in higher realms.

This is one great way to please your beloved Guru so that he may also manifest someday in the physical form as well for you.

An great ancient text that has great magical powers to change the entire world systems was re discovered around 2007. It is called the Golden Light Sutra. In our Vedic scripts it called as Svarna/Prabhasa/Sottam/Sutendra/Raja/MahaYana/Sutra which translates to The king of Glorious Sutra, the sublime Golden  Light.

It is said that reading and finishing this text each time brings incalculable merit to this realm, to you and to other realms (both lower and higher). By reading or listening to the Sutra this all our negative Karma will be dissolved instantly forever. The planetary stars at birth causing problems in your life currently will not harm you anymore and will not create any hindrance. The world will become peaceful and pollution free for future generations. There will be only love and quarrels. This ancient text has this power.

If you can understand or read Sanskrit then you can recite it as it is in the Vedic text. Otherwise it is available in other languages like English as well.

It is the intention of your soul that maters and not the language. You cannot assume that our Gods can understand only one language.

It is important to understand and generate compassion. This is a great way to fulfill our Internal and Eternal Guru's purpose for  us.

CHAPTER 2: MANTRAS PART 2

In this second part of Chapter Two I have listed some of the most potent Buddhist Healing Mantras. With blessing of the thousand of Buddhas and Monks, these powerful Healing Mantras will change your life and of those around you, by eliminating all afflictions, diseases and all sort of harms that affect his Samsara in the lower realms.
While reciting these Mantras it is a good idea to always think about the poor and suffering beings of all kinds in various realms as well (including a perceived hell realm by certain beings). It is excellent to recite for them, regardless of their religion, sect, intelligence and specie.

It is not important for us to impose our ideas of thought, exciting findings and discoveries of the great powers that Mantra hold on some one, but we can silently pray for them, in order for them to be quickly healed spiritually so that they begin their journey towards attaining the full enlightenment.
The practice of Mantra should always be done with a pure intention, an honest heart and free from egoistic expectations. If a Mantra does not work for you, it only means it is still teaching you something. It takes time to graduate, either this life or next or even several hundred thousand next lives for billions of eons. The progress however must not break, and so shouldn’t your faith which might already be under the test by Yakshas, Nagas, Garudas, and likes of them. If you practice with dedication, you will soon find ways of the Spiritual worlds that is important for liberation, and also the materialistic world which is important in Grahasta to complete the family responsibilities. [Do not go too deep into finding about Yakshas, Nagas, Garudas etc because will only deviate you in delusion of knowledge. Our true aim is to be on the path of enlightenment and help others as well to be on it until we all are fully enlightened.  These beings from higher realms will reveal themselves to you if they have to but don’t expect or wait for it]
Meanwhile, it is important to understand the mantra and then recite, only then can you reap the maximum benefit. Try to get drenched in the compassion that the mantra offers to you and forward that same unlimited infinite nectar to the beings around you; even to the ones that we cannot see at this level of awareness.

Mantra 1.
The Great Mantra of Compassion
AUM MANI PADME HUM (DevNagri Version):  (You can search for Beej Mantra Pronunciation of ‘HUM’ on various website. The lips do not close at ‘M’ but remain open. The sound becomes sort of nasal)

AUM MANI PAY-MAY HUNG: (Tibetan Version)

Please note that the small errors in pronunciations are acceptable by the supreme energy because your vibrational intensity and intention is what that counts. Do not over indulge yourself with web research on pronunciations.

Remember, there are several pundits out there who will be able to pronounce this Mantra a 1000 times better than you, but they may not be at as spiritual and compassionate that you may have already become or becoming.

The meaning of this Mantra is best described
Here AUM is given a newer meaning in order to help us understand or vices better
A: Corrupt Means Body that is proud   (Not pure body form that Vishnu is: the true ‘A’)
U: Corrupt Speech that is the destroyer (Not pure Speech or knowledge that Shiva is: the true ‘U’ )
M: Corrupt Mind that is low desires (Not pure desire of manifestation/ creation that Brahma is: the true ‘M’)

Mani: The Gemstone or the jewel that is divine and rare/ the jewel of unlimited compassion and love
Padme: the lotus (of true knowledge, true wisdom, light, brightness signifying emptiness)
HumRepresents the spirit of enlightenment/ the destroyer of illusion.

Therefore through the jeweled lotus of knowledge we purify our body speech and mind to the pure enlightenment and realization of our true sense of AUM.

CHAPTER 2: MANTRAS Part 1.

There are several definitions of Mantra on the internet written by scholars of various sects. The research is never ending. They also essential to channelize your several thought to one.
Mantra in all its essence also means the vibration that protects the mind from the negative energy. Maybe we all have the ability to build an invisible shield around us, like the ozone layer to protect us from harmful cosmic rays and filter only the pure positive light. The Mantras also are known to assist in the ascension and realization of self and the higher realms.
There are plenty of beliefs on what Mantra is right for us. For those like me who have not been given a Mantra from the physical living Guru would find it difficult to select one.

“The core Universal Mantra is ‘OM’ [AUM]”
This Mantra is the primal vibration of all the beginning and the end. Reciting “Om” makes you realize the “Maya” of this lower realm and pushes you towards the higher self. This can also give you a strong disconnect with our current realm “The Earth” and push you towards dark energy. If you don’t balance it well you can become lazy, less social and under confident. It just like an antibiotic medicine, an overdose can make you feel dizzy, but the right quantity will cure you without side effects. Therefore, you must carefully implement it in your life.
For this reason may be few scholars naturally argue that married people should not recite this Mantra as it could bring misfortune and a broken marriage. Since Mantras are always auspicious, I believe that ‘misfortune’ only means failures that may happen in your life due the lack of willingness to work as you may get more and more disconnected and also distance yourself with worldly goals & objectives because of this Mantra. So it is important to maintain balance.
Lord Shiva is a perfect example of this balance, where His family is part of his Oneness. For him there is nothing to disconnect from and yet He is not affected by lower realms and desires.
From a partially enlightened view, I can suggest everything happens for good, failure, success or misfortune that you may receive will only give you a valuable lesson that you need the most, though it may not be the one that you think you need the most. Years later however you will cherish, most of you already do.
A wise Monk/Nun has said “Suffering is not a punishment, and happiness is not a reward”
They are like two sides of Karma Coin. When a Karma ripens, you will receive what you sowed in several past lives and this one.

Part II
If you can’t find a physical manifestation of a genuine Guru to give you a Mantra, let your inner Guru guide you. Let your instinct take over. Let the Mantra select you. (The eternal essence and experience from a Mantra will only lead you forward.)
I discovered Mantras accidently while looking for something else on the web. Slowly I developed a keen interest. I also started to read a bit about astrology and what are the effects of different planets on me. I could not understand much of it, but got what I needed to know. I started to research how and why do Mantras affect us. The revelations brought me at the doorstep of a whole new lineage of ancient wisdom.  The Mantras did not magically eliminated my worldly troubles from only the surface, but made me realize the source/root of all problems. They revealed to me the path to solve all my problems. It is also important to understand that a Mantra or its combinations may take a year or more to energies your inner spiritual expectations rather than your perceived worldly expectation.
I picked up ‘Graha Mantras’ (Planetary Mantras) to start with. It is good to recite them for a certain number of times within 40 days. These mantras are a good help to develop your spiritual strength and concentration. You can then move to Mantras of Various Lords such as Brahama, Vishnu, Shiva, Ma Durga or Maa Ambey, Ma Sarasvati, Ma Laxmi and Ma Parvati. You can follow this by subtle Ram Mantra, Krishna mantra and Hanuman Mantra before you tp proceed to Singular or Beej Mantras.
For example, if you are an employee vibratory particle, then the Planetary Mantras are like team leaders, Mantras of various Lords are like the Managers, the Beej Mantras like Directors and OM as the chairman. Therefore, I recommend a systematic approach from my experience but, let your instincts decide. Your internal Guru’s voice will not lie to you. Only your secondary voice which is ego would lie and may make you choose a higher Mantra that you may not be ready for.

Part III
Here are some quick suggestions to help you further:
1)      It is good to know which planet’s vibration is affected you the most in negative way. The one that your vibrational level is disharmonized with. Starting from that could give better stability and immunity form afflictions. The Mantras may affect immediately or in combination with some others. Whatever the Mantra brings, trust that it will bring lessons to you until you can harmonize with it. It is not about getting rid of something, but accepting. Then move to the next.  The process is slow, but I think only this brings results. All you have to do is to be aware of all of your fears and mistrust at all times, and eliminate these afflictions/weaknesses.

2)       Here are some Mantras and there different usage in Hinduism.

There several other categories of Mantras, however, I would be mostly listing the ones that have spiritual benefits and do not invoke greed or a reason to breed ego due to our inability to understand their essence.

[The Next write up will be about several Healing Light Mantras that you should use before proceeding to Beej Mantras]
